The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell is expected to hold the MHT CET 2022 exam in the last week of April. The date of the MHT CET test in 2022 will be announced soon. The application form for the MHT CET 2022 has been released. The MHT CET 2022 exam will be held in several places across the country in an online format as a Computer Based Test. The exam will consist of three papers: Paper 1 will cover mathematics, Paper 2 will cover physics and chemistry, and Paper 3 will cover biology. Those for Engineering programs (PCM Group) must take Papers 1 and 2, whereas candidates for Pharmacy courses (PCB Group) must take Papers 2 and 3. The selection of paper (PCB or PCM) must be made when completing the application form. The exams for the PCM and PCB sections will be held on separate dates.

The MHT CET 2022 exam will be comparable in difficulty to the NTA's JEE Mains exam. Class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology topics make up the MHT CET 2022 syllabus, with class 11 themes receiving 20% of the weightage and class 12 topics receiving 80% of the weightage

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET): Eligibility Criteria

The test conducting authorities published the MHT CET 2022 eligibility along with the publication of the application form. MHT CET 2022 applicants must ensure that they meet the admission standards; else, their application will be rejected.

The exact eligibility criteria for MHT CET 2022 applicants can be found here. All applicants who have passed/appeared at the qualifying examination, i.e. HSC/12th Standard or its equivalent, and have Indian nationality are eligible to take the MHT CET exam, according to the criteria. There are no age limitations for admission or taking the MHT CET. Below are the course-specific eligibility criteria for various courses.

Candidates must have passed or appeared in an HSC or equivalent examination in 2022 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, as well as Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, IT, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, and Technical Vocational subjects, or a passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology.

Candidates must have received a minimum of 45 percent (40 percent for SC/ST/OBC).

B-Pharma

Candidates must have passed or sat in the 2022 HSC or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry, as well as one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology.

D-Pharma

Candidates must have passed or sat in the HSC in 2022 or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry, as well as Mathematics or Biology, or have completed a Pharmacy Diploma Course from one of the accredited institutes.

 

 

Candidates must have received at least 50% of the marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC).

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET): Application Form

On February 10, the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell published the MHT CET Application Form 2022. On the MHT CET 2022 official website, the application form is only available in an online format. Candidates interested in taking the MHT CET 2022 must complete the application form before the deadlines.

Filling out the application form entails registering online, filling out the full form, submitting scanned photos of a passport-size color photograph, signature, and ID proof, as well as paying the application fees. How to Fill MHT CET 2022 Application Form

The application form is only available online. Candidates who are interested in applying must complete the application form before the deadlines. The whole procedure for filling out the MHT CET application form 2022 is outlined below.

Step 1:  Visit the official website.

Step 2: Select "MHT CET 2022 Registration" from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: To complete the registration procedure, fill in the essential information and click the submit button.

Step 4: Candidates will be routed to the application form after completing the registration process. Complete the application procedure by entering all of the essential information.

Step 5: Scan your photo, signature, and ID evidence and upload them.

Step 6: Pay the application fees

Following the successful payment of application fees, the application form will be instantly submitted. Candidates must print out their completed application form after downloading it. Candidates are urged to keep their forms safe until the admissions process is completed.

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET): Admit Card

MHT CET Admit Card 2022 will be released by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell a few days before the exam. On the official website, admit cards will be accessible for download. Once the hall ticket is published, a direct link to download it will be provided here.

The admission card will contain information regarding the MHT CET 2022 exam date and time, exam center address, paper for which applicants will be appearing, and candidates' basic information such as name, photo, and signature. Candidates must read all of the information on the admission card before downloading it using the instructions below.

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET): Exam Center

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET): Syllabus

The MHT CET 2022 exam has a syllabus that is equivalent to the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology courses taught in grades 11 and 12. The CET Cell has issued the MHT CET 2022 syllabus pdf. According to information provided by the CET Cell, class 11 themes will receive 20% of the weightage, while class 12 topics will receive 80% of the weightage while producing the MHT CET question paper. While studying for the exam, candidates should keep the weighting of topics in mind.
