This time Indian Institutes of Management will be organizing the CAT 2022 exam. This time CAT 2022 will be conducted online as it is computer based admission test for admissions in post graduation & other Fellow management programmes offered by IIMs all over the country. Number of B Schools and other management instituions in India will consider the CAT score for providing admission in MBA, PGDM & other PG management courses to the students.
CAT refers to the Common Admission Test which is one of the most soughted examinations for many management courses. This admission test is organized only once in a year. CAT 2022 Registration
If we talk about the registration process for CAT 2022. There are numbers of students who are looking forward for applying in CAT 2022. The registration process for test examination akready has been started from date 4th August 2022. These are some instruction given bellow for registration of CAT 2022
⇒ 1.You can easily go through the registration process through the website.
⇒ 2.Registration window for CAT 2022 is opened from 4th August 2022.
⇒ 3.Candidates should have a working mobile number and an active Email ID for CAT 2022 registration.
⇒ 4.On first place, candidates have to register to generate their unique User ID and password.
⇒ 5.The last date of submitting the application now has been extended till 22nd September 2022.
⇒ 6.Before filling the application form Candidates must login to the website with the generated ID details.
⇒ 7. After entering your all the details carefully & making fee payment submit your application to complete the registration process for CAT 2022.
⇒8. Authority will also provide you the correction facility from last week of September 2022.
⇒9. Scanned images of your passport size photograph and signature will be required as well for uploading.
CAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the examination every Candidate must check the CAT eligibility criteria given below:
⇒1. For qualifying the Exam you should have your scores of Bachelor degree or equivalent to minimum 50% (45% scores for reserved category candidates).
⇒2. Candidates who are appearing in the final year of their bachelor degree are also eligible to apply for CAT 2022.
⇒3. Candidates who have any professional degrees like CA/ CS/ ICWA are also eligible to apply.
⇒4. There is no age limit or attempt limit to apply for CAT.
CAT 2022 Exam Pattern
When we talk about CAT 2022 exam pattern it includes everything like the mode of examination, duration of exam, test centers, marking schemes etc.
⇒1. The exam will be conducted through the online mode as it will be a computer based test.
⇒2. There will be both objective and subjective types of questions that will be asked in the examination.
⇒3. Candidates will be provided total two hours (120 minutes) to solve the question paper.
⇒4. The exam will be organized around in 156 cities. Name of the particular test centre will be mentioned in student’s admit card.
⇒5. According to the marking schemes three marks will be given for each correct answer.
⇒6. One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the objective type section. On the other hand there will be no negative marking done in the subjective section of the question paper.

CAT Syllabus 2022
For preparation of CAT 2022 you will have to properly go through the CAT syllabus 2022 will be divided into 3 sections, i.e. first is Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, second is Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension and third is Quantitative Ability.
⇒1. Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning: Caselets and Tables, Venn Diagrams, Calendars, Cubes and Clocks, Seating Arrangement, Syllogism, Combination of two or more types linked to each other, Blood Relations, , Line Charts & Pie Chart, Number and Letter Series, Bar Graphs and Column Graphs Binary Logic, Connectives & Sequence, Logical Matching.
⇒2. Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension: Synonyms Antonyms (Vocabulary Based), Reading Comprehension, Jumbled Paragraph and Close Passage, Correction in Sentence, Analogies and Reverse Analogies, Grammar or English Usage, Fill in the blanks, Facts Inferences Judgements, Verbal Reasoning, Summary Questions, Meaning/Usage Match.

Quantitative Ability: Number Systems, Speed, LCM & HCF, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Averages, Coordinate Geometry & Mensuration, Ratio & Proportion, Sequences & Series, Inequalities, Set Theory, Surds & Indices, Functions & Geometry, Mixtures & Allegations, Profit, Loss & Discount, Trigonometry, Percentages, Logarithm, Binomial Theorem, Simple & Compound Interest, Complex Numbers, Probability, Permutation and Combination, Quadratic & Linear Equations.
